Dear Laymen Brothers,

I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.  I pray that you and your families are doing well during the challenges that we face today.  I am sure that you find consolation in knowing that God is still in control.

Myself, Charlie Richmond and Rev. Terrence Griffith from the Foreign Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. will be leading a delegation of 20 Laymen to the mission field in Africa scheduled for January 2025.

This mission trip will take us to mission stations in the countries of South Africa, Malawi and eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) where we will be engaging in mission work projects and vision seeking for future engagements and missional support.

The projected cost of this 12 - 14-day mission trip is around $5,000.  This projected cost will cover round trip air fare from departing US airport, probably Atlanta. The cost will include hotel stays during the trip as well as two meals daily (breakfast and dinner). It also covers all in country travels by land and/or by air. 

Also needed for the trip is spending money for souvenirs, gifts etc. You will need a passport that will be good for six months upon returning to the US. If a VISA is needed, we will purchase it at the border. You will need to visit a travel clinic/nurse for necessary shots, tablets and other medical instructions, Africa travel voltage converter for phone charging, computers use, shavers, etc.

We will need a commitment by this summer and final payment normally due 60 days prior to travel date. Trip details will be available later via zoom mtgs. & travel agent.
